Well the story behind our new mascot named Baxter. One of our team members (CPT Larsen) noticed that there were allot of dogs running around wild and he thought that it would be nice to have a team pet. One day on a normal convoy to a check point he noticed this little black and white pup running around in the grass. During our meeting with the Iraq Army he asked if they can have a dog. Well they didn't even hesitate one of the officers told a soldier to go catch a dog. Wouldn't you know that they caught the one that we saw coming in the compound that little black and white pup that we now call Baxter (Rattler00). He has had a nice bath and is now tic free. He has his own little bed and house that he lives in. He is warming up to all of us and we all are starting to grow on each other. I will take more photo's as he gets bigger and post them on this site so check back from time to time.... SSG Gappa
